项目摘要
This project will perform an archival recovery and examination of Susan Ferrier's private writing with the intention of reshaping perceptions of this neglected, Scottish female author and the creative communities in which she was operating. This will involve transcribing Ferrier's private works in ways that will prepare them for digitalisation in the future, annotating people, places and literary interactions. This project will analyse these connections, map new romantic networks, transform perceptions of Ferrier's creative work and the ways in which it is built upon citation, allusion and influence and contribute to a reshaping of our understanding of Romantic-period Scotland
