Reflecting on the developing legacy of the City of Culture for Coventry's creative sector, thiscollaborative research project aims to provide valuable insight on how legacy is experienced byindividuals and organisations, using Coventry Biennial as a live Case Study.Providing in-depth account of relationships and processes, findings may offer insight on 'the general bylooking at the particular' (Denscombe, 2021), as example of broader type (Hammersley, 1992; Ragin andBecker, 1992).Founded in response to the city's 10-year cultural strategy and bidding for City of Culture, CoventryBiennial is a distinctive arts organization, extensively networked within the city and region, and in theprocess of becoming a new NPO.
