A Conceptual Moral Argument for Theism that Addresses the Problem of Evil

This project concerns a unique moral argument for God's existence. Using the method of conceptual analysis - which involves breaking down a concept into its constituent parts - I arrive at an account of what is required for objective morality. I argue that to meet these requirements, objective morality requires a theistic grounding. I then explore whether the moral argument can "turn the tables" against the problem of evil on the following basis: the problem of evil can only be raised by presupposing objective morality, but given the moral argument above, objective morality must be grounded in God, so the problem of evil is self-refuting.
