With the increasing risk of malicious passive sensing in urban environments, there needs to be aproportionate rise into research on privacy-preserving radio frequency spectrum defence methods. Thecompleted deliverables of the first research project are a digital model of an active and passive radar systemwhich can be deployed to generate synthetic radar data in response to target trajectory position and velocityvectors. Three indoor trajectories were modelled based on measurements taken in a room at UCL to begin tocapture the range of different possible movement patterns. Subsequently, the passive and active receiverswere moved around to investigate the effect of bistatic geometry on tracking accuracy. While real-world datacapture was attempted through experimental trials, they were unsuccessful and are left as future work.
