3D printing concrete has drawn increasing attention as they can substantially enhance the efficiency of construction, whereas it tends to have issues with ductility and re-bar provision. The use of UltraHigh-Performance Concrete (UHPC) can resolve these problems. But still, the embeddedcarbon of such 3D printed UHPC is very high and so there is an urgent need to lower it. In addition, the fire spalling performance of 3D printed UHPC with greener components has never been studied. This project will investigate the fire spalling behaviour of greener 3D printed UHPC with cement replacement materials, recycled aggregates and alternative fibres. The mechanisms of heat-induced spalling and mitigation measures will be studied. The work will also be complemented bythe development of a predictive model for heat-induced spalling and to produce design guidance for the proposed concrete.
