The aim of this PhD project is to use the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) to study the spectra of Spitzer excess sources in the Epoch of Reionization at z = 5.5 - 9, contributing to our understanding of the last major phase transition that occurred in the universe, bringing the cosmic Dark Ages to a close.
