EFFECTS OF TAHITIAN NONI JUICE ON POSTPRANDIAL BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS

The proposed study is undertaken to test the hypothesis that the dietary supplement, Tahitian Noni Juice (TNJ), may decrease the plasma glucose response to a formula in healthy or pre-diabetic subjects. The blood glucose curves will be anlayzed to determine any acute or long-term effects of TNJ. Tahitian Noni Juice has been reported to potentially lower blood glucose, however, the proposed study will be the first to study the possible effect of the juice in a controlled protocol.
