This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The funds provided by the INBRE equipment subcontract are being used to expand the biomedical sciences research infrastructure at Cameron University. The equipment purchased on the subcontract will facilitate not only the work being done on the research subcontract provided to Dr. Carla Guthridge, but will facilitate the development of biomedical sciences research by additional faculty to be hired in the 02 grant year who will participate in the writing of INBRE mini-grants and or collaborative research grants.
