Identifying a cost-effective approach to MRSA control in Australia

Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections place a growing health and economic burden on Australian society. There are many different ways to reduce the problem but the strategy that is the most effective and represents the best value for mony for the Australian tax-payer has not been identified. This project aims to estimate the benefits and costs of all relevant control strategies and make recommendations to policy makers about which approach to take.
