Vitamin D deficiency is a significant public health concern, affecting up to 50% of Australian women, potentially impacting on many chronic health conditions and increasing suffering, economic loss and premature death. This study will lead to the development of safe, effective interventions to address this important health issue. In particular we will assess the effectiveness of a lifestyle intervention to safely improving vitamin D status.
