项目摘要

ADMININSTRATIVE CORE A SUMMARY To support this program, the Administrative Core A aims to administratively support the scientific activities of this group by enabling the free exchange of scientific investigation, information, data integration, sharing of protocols, cross-training mentees, and sample distribution among the Program Investigators. In addition, the Administrative Core A will serve as the liaison to for meetings and other network activities with related groups. The Administrative Core A will coordinate participation in program evaluation activities, including progress reports, site visits, and provide additional communication and materials to the NIH as needed. The Administrative Core A has essential functions in the interactive practices that maintain cohesion across the entire Program, including arranging frequent Project/Core Leader conferences, joint lab meetings, and scheduling meetings with the Advisory Group. These events and activities are essential to maintaining a high degree of collegiality and collaboration and for ensuring continued focus on the Program’s overall goal of developing Pan-coronavirus vaccine concepts with high promise for superior breadth, potency, and durability. The Administrative Core A also plays a major role in supporting the PI, Project and Core Leaders as they discuss and enact PI decisions. The Administrative Core A is responsible for the financial accounting for the overall Program activities and all Projects and Cores. The Administrative Core deals with the research administration offices of all participating institutions on financial and protocol issues, and it insures the smooth distribution of funds through the subcontracting process. The Administrative Core A assists the PI together with the Project and Core Leaders to prepare all NIH reports, ensuring that IRB and IACUC protocols are properly executed, maintaining the appropriate open access to Program supported data and scientific publications, and maintaining up to date bibliographies in MyNCBI. The Administrative Core has four specific aims. Aim 1. Provide leadership and administrative expertise for the Program by facilitating collegiality, collaboration, coordination, and communication across the Program. Aim 2. Provide administrative support for sample, resources, and data distribution within the Program. Aim 3. Serve as liaison between components of the Program. Aim 4. Ensure financial accountability, data dissemination, and timely management of progress reports, site visits, and providing additional communication and materials to NIH as needed. In particular, the Administrative Core A will ensure the data collected conform with the agreed practice and principles of the Program Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Common Data Elements (CDEs) and data sharing plan as approved by the NIH.
