This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. We have developed a suite of image analysis programs that require that the images being analyzed not be in the proprietary image format that comes off of the Deltavision microscopy system. To solve this problem, we have developed a program we have named R3DConverter that will convert the proprietary Deltavision files to either 8 bit or 16 bit grayscale or RGB color TIFF images. The program supports a wide array of scaling options, color channel assignments, quick projection and more.
