项目摘要

This subproject is one of many research subprojects utilizing the resources provided by a Center grant funded by NIH/NCRR. The subproject and investigator (PI) may have received primary funding from another NIH source, and thus could be represented in other CRISP entries. The institution listed is for the Center, which is not necessarily the institution for the investigator. The purpose of this CRC application is gain permission to utilize the resources of CRC to better conduct a multi-center clinical trial that is already IRB approved and currently underway at Stanford (one of about 10 centers). We have been using the ACCESS room but now wish to also utilize the skilled resources of the CRC staff. The primary objective of the study is to determine if RT-CGM can improve glycemic control and quality of life in children and adults with T1D. In addition, an evaluation of the cost-effectiveness of RT-CGM will be conducted.
