The purpose of this research is to study the influenza vaccine in the kidney transplant population by measuring their antibody response to the standard trivalent inactivated influenza vaccine as compared to healthy controls. Secondly, the goal is to document the burden of influenza infection and other viral respiratory pathogens in this population utilizing a surveillance program.
