英文摘要
Project Summary/Abstract
The NorCal-RCC (Regional Coordinating Center 13) leads a regional clinical trials network of
centers committed to conducting high-quality clinical research to improve stroke prevention,
acute stroke treatment, and recovery from stroke as part of the NIH StrokeNet clinical trials
network. Investigators at the University of California San Francisco have partnered with multiple
centers including Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, the Veterans Administration
Medical Center San Francisco, the Kaiser Permanente Northern California system, the Sutter
Bay Hospitals network, Community Regional Medical Center, John Muir Medical Center, Salinas
Valley Memorial Hospital, and Queen’s Medical Center to engage with diverse populations of
stroke patients to advance and accelerate stroke clinical research through its support of high-
impact clinical trials in the regional and national network and its support of training for the next
generation of leaders in stroke clinical research.
