Dry-box and pressure reactor for the preparation of innovative materials by polymerization catalysis

We propose to equip our laboratory with a dry-box and a pressure reactor.  These two pieces of equipment will be an indispensable asset for our research program dedicated to the preparation of innovative materials by polymerization catalysis.  The goal of this program is to prepare a series of novel polymeric materials with applications in the domains of zero VOC coatings, anticorrosion coatings and functional polymers. This program will have important repercussions not only in the field of polymer chemistry but also, in the long term, for the Canadian industry, which will become more competitive with the advent of highly sophisticated and innovative materials.
