CIRGET (Centre interuniversitaire de recherche en géométrie et topologie) is an interuniversity research centre engaged in research and training activities in contemporary geometry and topology. Its offices and computer laboratory are housed at UQAM where many of its scientific activities take place. The purpose of this grant application is to upgrade CIRGET's computer network, which is the only one in Quebec to provide specialized geometry-topology research software. This new equipment will ensure that CIRGET can maintain its mission.
