We will study new ways to mathematically assess evidence relevant to agricultural and other applications in the post-genomic era. Specifically, novel methods of weighing evidence will be formulated in order to better interpret measurements of molecular concentrations in the cell. The more thorough understanding of this information may advance biotechnology, potentially leading to the improvement of the affordability or quality of food products.
