In the Computational Biomathematics Laboratory, we develop mathematical model and computer simulation tools of complex biological systems, often with a view on their interaction with the physical environment. Examples are honeybees, bacterial biofilm communities and the gut microbiome. This grant enables the purchase of desktop workstations to carry out this research program.
