The CCNB is requesting an ARD Level 1 Grant to analyze the chemical composition of the wastewater resulting from paper fibre and clay coating processes used to produce electrically conductive paper. Knowcharge approached the college to help better understand chemical composition of the wastewater resulting from their fibre and clay coating processes. This information is important to help the company work on improving the manufacturing process to reduce time and costs and to develop a rigid quality control program. It is also important to ensure that the wastewater disposal is done according to Environment Canada guidelines.
