Ansik Inc. is a company based out of the University of Waterloo's Velocity Foundry incubator. By effectively utilizing the philosophies of high-engineered quality, advanced mechanical techniques, and ergonomic industry designs, their mission is to provide an industry standard safety tool for vehicle struts with the launch of the product ShockLock. ShockLock is a mechanical reinforcement for worn-out gas charged struts (GCSs), which are commonly found attached to vehicle hoods and trunks. It is used as a safe and one handed tool to be used by the professional mechanic and automobile enthusiasts.
