项目摘要
Studies will be conducted to explore (1) the fundamental parameters controlling the determination of individual stellar masses and star system properties in the process of star formation; (2) the birth of typical star clusters in regions of dense gas accretion, accounting for the harassment, stirring, and removal of material by protostellar jets and winds; (3) the fiery creation of massive star and globular clusters, including the winds, radiation pressure, and ionizing photons interacting with turbulent and clumpy environs; and (4) explosions which result from the collapse of stars in the creation of gamma-ray bursts, including newly-discovered varieties of weak GRB and x-ray flash transients.
