Canada's SNOLAB facility, 2 km underground in Vale's Creighton mine outside Sudbury is a world-class underground laboratory for measurements of rare events of cosmic significance. I am developing two projects there: DEAP-3600, an ultrapure liquid argon detector that will see small flashes of light generated by interactions of galactic dark matter, and SNO+- a ~850 Mg detector that will measure properties of neutrinos from rare decays of natural tellurium, as well as neutrinos from the sun, the earth, and nuclear reactors.
