Curatio is a Vancouver-based company focused on the design of mobile applications to support people facing**chronic health situations. The company's goal is to connect patients and their family with networks of people**suffering from similar situations, provide health education around the health problem, and allow users to track**their daily routines and rhythms. We are interested and focused on making that platform more intelligent and**personalized and tailored to its individual users. While all existing related solutions offer a on-size-fit-all**approach, we are interested in working with Curatio to focus on building the first social health prescription**platform. Like a medical prescription, such a technical platform should be fully intelligent and individualized.**Toward this objective, with Curatio we have developed and deployed two intelligent recommendation**components to its platform which recommends peers and content to its individual users. Curatio's ultimate**goals is to be available to all patients all around the world. One big challenge toward this goal is there are many**health conditions, it is not feasible to build and develop community and services for every single of these**conditions manually. There are two ways we can move toward this goal: 1- Develop a general-purpose**platform which can host all conditions. Examples of these are forums, Facebook pages 2- Design and develop a**personalized platform which provide scalable, sustainable and automated services and strategies. With Curatio**we aim to do the second one. In our third step (the first two being the user and content recommendation**components), we would like to create an implementation of a personalized intelligent virtual companion**(Agent) for the user. The Agent will collect information about the user and build a user model from the user**and will interact with the user through available defined action on the platform. Our hypothesis is that**personalization of the user experience in the platform will have positive impact on the engagement of the**existing users on the platform
