项目摘要
The Canada Research Chair on Source Water Protection will focus primarily on generating new knowledge on the dynamics of contaminants presenting the greatest threats to sources of drinking water. Three primary themes will be explored: (1) adaptation to global change, (2) protecting urban water supplies, and (3) management of cyanobacterial blooms. New data will be acquired for the development of hydrologic and hydrodynamic models of microbial contaminant transport or the accumulation and growth of cyanobacteria in sources of drinking water.
