VueReal is currently developing novel integration processes that provide a means to combine micro-LED devices with CMOS circuitry and they have begun exploring opportunities for TFT drivers that enable the next-generation large-area displays. In support of their technology commercializtion roadmap, Professor Wong's group proposes to investigate the effect of bonding and transfer processes on the performance of a-Si:H TFT devices and circuits. The project will enable VueReal to determine the best approaches to utilize their existing integration technology with TFT backplanes and develop new approaches for large-area display integration. The successful outcome of this project will allow VueReal to develop integrated TFT-driven micro-LED arrays and offer new commercialization pathways for their core technology.
