英文摘要
The ability to make predictions about the world is essential to everyday functioning. Dr Iordanovas research seeks to determine how predictive learning interacts in fear and reward, how it is processed in the brain and how it is altered as a result of exposure to drugs. What distinguishes Dr Iordanova is her unique and multifaceted approach, which integrates expertise from animal learning with cutting-edge disruptive and cell recording neuroscience techniques. By studying how appetitive and aversive states interact at the behavioral and neural level, Dr Iordanova will present novel avenues for the development of animal models of anxiety and addiction.
