项目摘要

The Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Multimedia Quality-of-Experience (QoE) programtargets at developing a series of novel theories and critical technologies for unifiedend-to-end multimedia QoE measurement, optimization and intelligence solutions thatwill reshape how multimedia content is processed and distributed over globaltelecommunication networks, while improving individuals everyday perceptual QoE.The CRC program, led by a world-renowned researcher, will help strengthen Canadasreputation, impact and global leadership in the field of multimedia communications,help produce a significant number of highly qualified personnel to join Canadasworkforce, and help transfer leading technologies to Canadian industrial partnersproducts and services.
