The goal of my proposed research program is to form predictive models of impacts of coastal industrial development on the abundance and behaviour of wild fish stocks of immense economic and cultural importance. Results will be critical to the development of effective management strategies for both commercial and recreational fisheries. In addition, the results will quantify the costs and benefits of coastal engineering projects for the production of marine renewable energy.
