Aurora College is working with the Government of the Northwest Territories, local industry, industry specialists, and legal experts to develop plain language materials for northern businesses which describe how they can safely participate in the manufacturing sector in support of the fight against COVID-19. Materials will cover acquiring a Medical Device Establishment Licence (MDEL), safe production and packaging to prevent the risk of COVID-19 spread, materials and process safety / sanitizing testing, and understanding liability implications of manufacturing for the medical and non-medical markets.
