The advanced manufacturing and materials focused Selkirk Technology Access Centre (STAC) located at Selkirk College will offer a suite of services designed to build the competitiveness of advanced manufacturing and material R&D companies in BCs interior region. Technical expertise and specialized equipment will be used to advance product design and development, robotics and automation, 3D printing and rapid prototyping, material characterization, fitness for service testing, forensic engineering, 3D scanning and reverse engineering, material research and development, and customized training. The STAC will enable the development of commercializable products and services and optimization of business processes resulting in decreased costs, increased efficiencies, and enhanced productivity for industry clients.
