英文摘要
Dr. Calarco¿s research lies at the intersection of RNA biology and neurobiology. His work will develop a deeper understanding of how control over the processing and maintenance of messenger RNAs contributes to the growth and specialization of cells of the brain called neurons. RNA biology has witnessed an explosion of exciting new discoveries, permeating many areas of biological research. Dr. Calarco¿s unique research program will contribute to this exciting area of inquiry through the use of both cutting-edge and well-established molecular approaches, leading to new discoveries of how nervous systems are built, with potential therapeutic applications in regenerative medicine.
