英文摘要
The impacts of climate warming are greatest in the Arctic. For many animals, the timing and location of their movement patterns, especially the incredible migrations of birds, will determine their resilience to change. As food used by northern people, birds also provide early warning signals for changes in human health. What does the changing ecology of seabirds tell us about arctic ecosystems? How do toxins affect resilience to climate change? These questions will be investigated using cutting-edge biologging tools to better understand ecological mechanisms in a changing Arctic and to help ensure the environmental security of Arctic communities.
