广东河源盆地恐龙蛋化石群及古环境研究

本项目将通过对河源盆地发现的恐龙蛋进行系统形态学和分类学研究，分析河源恐龙蛋化石群组成及其多样性，与我国研究程度较高的几个恐龙蛋化石群进行对比，分析其在恐龙蛋化石群序列中的位置；对河源盆地进行详细的地层考察，厘定恐龙蛋的准确层位，对河源盆地红层进行划分与对比；分析恐龙蛋三重氧同位素，探讨河源盆地的古环境以及不同类型恐龙的生活习性；采用CT扫描技术对恐龙蛋和蛋壳显微结构进行构建，找寻其中可能存在的恐龙胚胎，建立恐龙蛋与恐龙的直接关系。本项目的实施将进一步丰富恐龙蛋的类型，建立河源盆地晚白垩世红层层序，分析河源盆地的古环境，建立恐龙与恐龙蛋之间的直接关系，探讨不同类型恐龙的生活习性。

In this project, we will study the morphology and taxonomy of dinosaur eggs from the Heyuan Basin, analyze the diversity of the Heyuan Basin’s dinosaur egg fauna, and compare the dinosaur egg assemblage with other dinosaur egg faunas, which have been relatively well studied. We will carry out detailed surveys of dinosaur egg localities to accurately locate the dinosaur egg horizons, and reveal the distribution of the different dinosaur eggs in the strata. We will analyze dinosaur egg triple oxygen isotope, discusses the paleoenvironment of the Heyuan Basin and habits of different kinds of dinosaurs. A major additional focus will be the analysis of various dinosaur oospecies with the techniques of X-ray Computed Tomography (CT), find out the possible existence of dinosaur embryos in eggs, and analyze technical requirements about the technology in dinosaur egg and eggshell studying. Implementation of this project, we will increase the dinosaur eggs diversity in China and establish the stratigraphic sequence of the Cretaceous strata of the Heyuan Basin, and analyze the paleoenviroment of the Heyuan Basin, and try to establish the relationship between dinosaur and dinosaur eggs.
