腹地与经济区是近代经济地理研究的核心问题，已有研究在资料、方法与结论方面均存在相当大的可拓展空间。本课题综合运用地理学、历史学、区域经济学等多学科理论，试图从定量角度解决战前中国的腹地与经济区问题。首先，以《中国通邮地方物产志》（1937）为核心，构建战前中国商品贸易OD数据库。其次，利用全国性度量衡与币制数据估算战前国内商品市场容量。第三，采用GIS与复杂网络分析手段复原战前国内商品贸易市场的腹地范围，并利用模块度指标对贸易网络进行划分从而得到战前中国的经济区划。最后，通过对贸易、交通、地形、政区等因素的相关性分析，解释近代中国经济区形成的机理机制。本课题的科学价值体现在：提供了一套系统完善的贸易横截面OD数据；提高了近代经济地理研究的精度；推进了学界对腹地与经济区问题的认识。

Hinterland and economic zone are the core issues in the study of modern economic geography. We try to solve the problem of hinterland and economic zone of China before the WWII from a quantitative point of view by using the theories of geography, history and regional economics. First of all, the OD database of commodity trade of China of 1930s will be constructed. Secondly, we will use the national measurement and currency data to estimate the domestic commodity market capacity. Thirdly, we will use GIS and complex network analysis to restore the hinterland of the domestic commodity trade market, and use the modularity index to estimate the economic division of China. Finally, through the correlation analysis of trade, transportation, topography, political area and other factors, we will explain the mechanism of the formation of economic zone. The scientific value of this subject lies in: provide a set of systematic OD data of trade; improve the precision of modern economic geography research; promote the understanding of hinterland and Economic Zone in academic circles.
