算子代数与非交换几何研究生暑期学校

数学天元基金“泛函分析专题研讨班第一期”于2015年7月在复旦大学数学科学学院成功举办。本项目为“泛函分析专题研讨班”的第二期，将于2016年7月10日-7月30日在华东师范大学举办“算子代数与非交换几何研究生暑期学校”。作为长期目标，我们计划用三到四年的时间，从研究生泛函分析基础课的水平开始，逐步深入，在打好算子理论、算子代数基础的情况下，向研究生和青年教师介绍“算子代数与非交换几何”国际前沿领域近年来比较热门的新兴研究方向，在国内培养有国际竞争力的青年科研力量。

The First Summer School and Seminar in Functional Analysis supported by the NSFC Math Tianyuan Foundation was held in Fudan University in July, 2015. This proposal is an application for a continuous support to a continuation of the program, i.e., 2016 Summer School on Operator Algebras and Noncommutative Geometry for graduate students, which will be held from July 10, 2016, to July 30, 2016, in the Research Center for Operator Algebras, East China Normal University, Shanghai. This 2016 Summer School addresses to graduate students and young researchers with background in operator algebra, noncommutative geometry and related fields. We plan to use a 3-4-year period, starting from the level of postgraduate course of functional analysis, to lay firm foundation in operator theory and operator algebras, and to introduce more recent developments in these areas to students and young researchers. We hope to establish an internationally competitive group of young researchers in these mathematical fields.
