近年来,高精度的空间观测任务极大的推动了星震学的发展,同时也提出了新的挑战:如大振幅盾牌座delta型变星中探测到的大量小振幅脉动频率以及光变曲线的长周期振幅调制现象与当前脉动机制的预测存在偏差,组合频率和主脉动频率相位之间的相关性无法在现有机制下获得合理解释等。Kepler太空望远镜提供的高精度测光数据可为回答上述问题提供线索。本项目拟开展对Kepler天区大振幅盾牌座delta型变星的搜寻和星震学研究,旨在发现更多大振幅盾牌座delta型变星,探测更多小振幅的脉动频率,发现更多具有特殊现象或效应的变星。项目完成对Kepler天区大振幅盾牌座delta型变星的样本完备性、光变振幅调制的激发机制以及恒星内部结构的理解具有重要意义。
英文摘要
In recent years,space-based missions with high-precise photometric observations push the development of asteroseismology greatly and also raise some challenges, e.g. there are deviations between the observations of more low-amplitude frequencies and modulation effects detected in high-amplitude delta Scuti stars and the theoretical prediction, the correlation between the phases of the combination frequencies and their pulsation frequencies is not understood well currently. The high-precise photometric observations from Kepler space telescope could provide clues to address the above questions. This program is planned to search for high-amplitude delta Scuti star and perform asteroseismology, aiming to find more high-amplitude delta Scuti stars, detect more low-amplitude frequencies and discover more variable stars with peculiar effects. The implementation of this program will be of great significance for the sample completeness of high-amplitude delta Scuti star in Kepler field, and the understanding of the causes of modulation effects and the stellar internal structure.
