本项目拟重点采用电化学噪声(EN)等电化学方法结合原子力显微镜及X射线吸收谱等分析方法,深入研究Co、Ag和Cu等典型金属在多晶Au、Pt等异质金属上的欠电势沉积(upd)过程中的电化学特征、反应机制及upd层精细结构之间的内在联系。获取upd沉积结构特征(包括晶面参数)、沉积电势、阴离子种类和浓度等特征参数对upd过程的原位EN信息及upd层精细结构(包括阴离子共吸附)的影响规律,建立upd过程的EN特征与upd过程中电极表面的能量变化和upd层精细结构之间的关系模型,并进一步诠释“基体结构、阴离子种类和浓度及upd沉积电势等”与“upd过程的EN特征和upd层精细结构”之间的内在联系。本项目在国内外率先开展金属upd过程的EN研究,项目成果不仅可以丰富金属电沉积理论,而且有助于诠释电化学催化和电极表面修饰等研究领域的诸多现象,具有重要的实际意义和理论价值。
英文摘要
Electrochemical methods such as electrochemical noise (EN) in conjunction with the electrochemical atomic force microscope (AFM) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XRAS) and other analytical techniques will be used to investigate the electrochemical characteristics, reaction mechan-ism and the intrinsic relationship between the fine structure of underpotential deposition (UPD) layer which through the UPD process of typical metals such as Co, Ag and Cu on polycrystalline Au, Pt and other heterogeneous metals. Meanwhile, the influence of the characteristics of UPD deposition structure (including crystal surface parameters), deposition potential, anion species and concentration were also be researched to establish the relationship between the EN characteristics of UPD process and the energy change of electrode surface and the fine structure of UPD layer. Based on the above studies, a theoretic model of EN characteristics(Energy change) of UPD process and fine structure of UPD layer with the matrix structure, anion species and concentration will be established. This project is the first time to carry out EN research on metal UPD process. The results will not only enrich the theory of metal electrodeposition, but also help to explain many phenomena in the fields about electrochemical catalysis and surface modification of electrodes. Therefore, the research has important practical significance and theoretical value.
