英文摘要
The study of pseudoscalar meson spectrum is one of the breakthroughs to improve the understanding of hadron spectroscopy and search for new hadronic states. It is also a direct test of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) theory. At present, the number of psedoscalar particles observed in experiments exceeds the expectation of the quark model. It is very important to study the individually intrinsic constituents and their connectedness. The eta(1405/1475) has been considered to be one of the most interesting glueball candidates. However, with the in-depth research, it is still controversial about its internal constituents and properties, and is even far from conclusive whether they are two separated states or just one state in different decay modes. More precise and comprehensive studies are necessary. The J/psi radiative decays are of rich gluon, and are considered as the best platform to study hadron spectroscopy and search for glueballs. In this project, based on 10 billion J/psi events accumulated at BESIII detector, a partial-wave analysis (PWA) of the radiative J/psi decaying to KKbar pi will be performed, where the three combinations of KKbar pi with different isospin are included. The study is aimed to reveal the nature of eta(1405/1475) as well as the internal dynamic mechanism. Meanwhile, with the close cooperation with other researchers of BESIII experiment and relevant theorists, the feasibility of multi-channel coupling PWA for the KKbar pi, 3pi and eta pi pi final states will be explored. It is expected to provide the technology and method for multi-channel coupling PWA. The result will not only provide important experimental information and shed light on the disentangling of long-standing ‘eta(1405)/eta(1475) puzzle’, but also provide a key experimental tool for further research.
