铸牢中华民族共同体意识，加强各民族交往交融是我国实现区域协调发展的重要途径之一（十九大报告；李克强，2018）。构建不同民族间共同的国家意识离不开对个体的偏好、观念和行为的起源以及演化趋势的定量探索。本课题结合问卷调研和田野实验的方法，以云南省大理州巍山彝族回族自治县和宁蒗彝族自治县800名回族、摩梭族(人)和汉族小学生和初中生为样本，首先实证分析不同文化的族群偏好、观念和行为的起源和演化，其次探索家庭、学校、以及社会在塑造国家和民族认同感中的相对重要性。研究的结果将为通过教育实现文化凝聚，从而构建中华民族共同体意识提供重要政策建议。

One important way to narrow the regional income inequality is to build a national identity for different ethnic groups and promote the cooperation among them. In order to achieve this goal, it is crucial to quantitatively measure individuals’ preference, attitudes and behavior. Relying on survey and field experiment, this project studies over 800 Hui and Mosuo ethnic elementary and middle school students in Yunnan province. The goal is first to understand the origins of individuals’ differences in preferences, attitudes and behaviors. Then, I will study the importance of family, school education and society in the determination of building a common national identity. The results from this study will provide policy implications of using education to build a national identity across cultures.
