孔兹岩带是华北克拉通最新识别出来的一条古元古代陆陆碰撞造山带,但其多期构造变形、构造格局、变形变质演化历史等问题研究相对薄弱,严重制约了对孔兹岩带形成与演化的全面认识。本项目拟对孔兹岩带千里山-贺兰山杂岩体的构造变形历史进行系统研究:(1)通过野外宏观构造解析与变形分解,查明多期构造变形期次、样式、几何学及运动学特征;(2)进行显微构造、EBSD组构分析及变质作用研究,厘清变形变质作用相互关系及演化;(3)开展不同世代的锆石和独居石SIMS/LA-ICP-MS U-Pb微区定年及云母Ar-Ar定年,确定主要变形幕与变质阶段的时限,(4)综合分析以上数据及区域地质资料,建立变形-变质-运动学-年代学相统一的构造热动力学演化序列,构筑变形变质P-T-t-D轨迹,精细刻画阴山与鄂尔多斯陆块俯冲-碰撞造山过程,重建孔兹岩古元古代多期构造变形变质演化历史。

The Khondalite Belt is a newly-identified Paleoproterozoic continent-continent collisional orogen in the North China Craton, but its deformation history remains poorly constrained, which has hampered a better understanding of the origin and tectonic evolution of the Khondalite Belt. Here we propose to carry out systematically detailed field-based study on the Qianlishan-Helanshan Complex, one of the most representative lithotectonic units of the Khondalite Belt. Based on field mapping and structural analysis, we can examine the structures, geometry, kinematics and superposition of polyphase deformation. Through microstructural, metamorphic and electron backscatter diffraction analysis, the relationship between deformation and metamorphism as well as their evolution will be elucidated. In order to constrain the timing of major phases of deformation and metamorphism, we also conduct SIMS/LA-ICP-MS zircon/monazite dating and mica Ar-Ar dating. Furthermore, these results allow us to reconstruct a P-T-t-D path that can provide important insight into the tectonic evolution of the Khondalite Belt.
