Ocean circulation play a crucial role in adjusting climate, which provides important guarantees to exploit and utilize marine resources. Ocean buoys serve as a monitoring mean of real-time tracking ocean circulation and are widely used for acquiring ocean data. Due to the limination of technical requirements, whether buoys size affects following circulation and buoys dynamics accurately represent dynamics of ocean circulation are studied. The proposal uses turbulent Raylaigh-Bénard convection with netrually buoyant particles as the laboratory model. The interaction between buoys and ocean circulation is simulated by experimental methods, to discuss this Lagrangian dynamics of suspended large particles can describe the dynamics of large-scale flow structures; to study that the Lagrangian dynamic process of large particles under different volume fractions of particles, to analyse that the flow states of large-scale flow structures under the control of multi-particles and how multi-particles change the flow states to achieve the control of turbulent structure and heat transfer. This project contributes to the understanding of the dynamics of ocean circulation and provides a solution for the engineering field to control turbulent flow states and heat transport by netrually buoyant particles.
