本项目以海底滑坡异重流冲击管线问题为研究对象,采用室内试验、理论建模及数值模拟相结合的方法开展研究工作,针对海底滑坡异重流的运移演化规律和异重流冲击下管土相互作用机制关键科学问题,通过搭建在离心机内模拟水下异重流冲击管线的实验系统,建立基于图像处理技术的异重流运移演化分析方法,发展基于统一物理场的流固耦合数值分析计算理论等关键技术手段,构建可描述异重流演化过程的流变模型,建立管线受冲击作用下的安全评价标准。本研究将对深海管线的滑坡防护提供关键的理论基础与技术支撑,同时也具有广泛的实际工程应用价值。

By combining laboratory experiments, theoretical formulations and numerical simulations, the high-speed impact of the submarine sediment density flow on the pipelines will be studied. The proposal is mainly focusing on the evolution process of the sediment density flow during the landslides, as well as its impact on the pipelines. Three key components will consist the whole research, i.e. a series of centrifuge tests in order to model the submarine landslide process, an image-processing based technique to analyze the evolution process of the sediment density flow, a unified formulation for simulating the soil-fluid-pipeline interaction. Two main achievements are expected, including a rheological model to describe the soil phase transition process (from solid to fluid), and a simplified drag force formula which can be used for the pipeline design for engineering use. The research results will provide theoretical basis and technical guidance for protecting the pipelines from the damages due to the submarine landslides, and a potential prospect for a wider application of the research results for the engineering design is also expected.
