倒木分解释放的碳是森林生态系统碳收支中不容忽视的一个组分。倒木分解碳释放是一个复杂的生态过程,受到一系列因子的影响和驱动,包括生物因子和非生物因子。动物是重要的生物因子,不同营养级动物构成的食物网决定了倒木分解碳转化和释放进程,但在不同环境条件下(地理区位、森林类型、树种、分解等级等)倒木分解过程中食物网结构的变化如何驱动碳释放和迁移还不清楚。本项目分别在广东河源、江西庐山、安徽黄山设立试验点,采用Tulgren funnel和Pitfall trap采集及15N/14N和13C/12C同位素方法测定倒木分解动物群落和食物网结构动态,定量计算C素在倒木分解食物网不同营养级之间的流动关系,揭示不同森林类型、不同树种、不同分解等级倒木分解食物网的结构特征及空间变异,以阐明亚热带森林倒木分解食物结构及对碳释放的驱动机制。
英文摘要
The carbon release during CWD (Coarse woody debris) decomposition process is an important component that cannot be ignored in the carbon budget of forest ecosystems, and it plays an important role on the regional carbon cycle and global carbon balance. The decomposition of CWD (and thus carbon release) is a complex ecological process, and it affected and driven by a series of factors which including biotic factors and abiotic factors. Animals is an important biotic factor, and the food webs which composed by different trophic level of animals.that determined the decomposition and carbon release of CWD. While, how does the change of food webs structure driving carbon release and carbon transfer during CWD decomposition process under different environment condition (e.g. geographical location, forest type, tree species, decay classes, etc.) is still unknown. We conducted a field-based experiment to investigate the dynamics of animal community.and food web structure during CWD decomposition process which using Tulgren funnel and Pitfall trap method to collected, and using15N/14N and 13C/12C isotope methods to analysis in the southern subtropical Guangdong Heyuan,the middle subtropical Jiangxi Lushan, the northern subtropical Anhui Huangshan. Meanwhile, we combined with C-isotope labeling technology to quantitative calculation the flow relationship of C between different trophic level of animals in food webs. Our objectives are to understand the change of food web structure and spatial variation during CWD decomposition process under different environmental conditions (e.g. forest type, tree species, decay classes). Our.ultimate goal is to clarify the food web structure change and its driving mechanisms on carbon release of CWD decomposition in subtropical China forests.
