适应时代发展的高质量基础教育工作是国家和民族的重要事业。课堂教学是基础教育教学活动的主要载体,课堂教学效果是决定教育质量的关键基础。近年来,课堂教学模式正在从传统单向知识传递模式向开放互动式教学模式转变,给教育实践带来全新挑战。本项目聚焦中学阶段课堂教学环节,运用基于穿戴式测量设备的群体脑扫描技术,连续两年跟踪采集约200名师生的长时间、大样本真实课堂教学过程的神经生理与行为数据,探索课堂教学效果关键认知神经指标。针对课堂教学的多主体、互动式特点,本项目将心理学、认知神经科学新近理论与脑机接口、机器学习前沿技术方法相结合,构建课堂师生群体神经耦合模型,通过个体间神经耦合关系来反映个体和群体的课堂教学过程表现。项目预期形成基于认知神经科学视角的、有充分实证数据支撑的全新课堂教学效果评价指标体系和方法,有望成为现有教学效果评价体系的有效补充,为课堂教学的改革与进步作出贡献。
英文摘要
It is fundamentally important for our country and nation to have high-quality basic education that can constantly adapt to the fast-changing modern world. Classroom teaching is the main carrier of teaching activities in basic education, and classroom teaching effect is the key basis for determining the quality of education. In recent years, the classroom teaching model is shifting from the traditional one-direction knowledge transfer mode to the interactive teaching mode, which brings new challenges to educational practice. Focusing on classroom teaching in the middle school stage, this project employs the latest hyperscanning technique to explore the critical cognitive neural markers for classroom teaching. Using wearable devices to simultaneously record the neural activities from the students and teachers, we plan to conduct a large-scale, long-term follow-up study with a group of approximately 200 students and teachers for two consecutive years. To fully address the multi-participant and interactive characteristics of classroom teaching, we will construct cross-participant neural coupling models and use the inter-participant neural coupling features to reflect their classroom performances. By incorporating the frontiers in psychology and cognitive neuroscience theories as well as brain-computer interface and machine learning methods, a novel classroom teaching effectiveness evaluation method will be designed and implemented. The present project is based on a new neuroscience-based perspective that is complementary to the current theories on education and learning and makes contributions for further improvements of classroom teaching.
