近些年实验上虽然已经观测到一些新强子态(也称XYZ粒子),但对这些粒子属性的理解还远远不够,如:这些XYZ粒子是否有更多的产生和衰变模式?一些带电的Zc粒子已经被观测到,那么是否存在含奇异夸克的带电的Zcs态?是否存在更高质量的矢量类粲偶素? 研究上述问题无疑是目前新强子态的前沿方向之一。本项目依托Belle(II)实验获取的世界上最大的Upsilon数据样本首次在初态辐射的过程中对e+e-到高质量阈值的粲重子对和奇异粲介子对过程进行散射截面的测量,包括:(1) 粲重子对过程Λc+Σc-, Σc+ Σc-, Σc0 Σc0, Σc++ Σc--;(2)奇异粲介子对过程Ds*Ds0*(2317), DsDs1(2460), DsDs1(2536), DsDs2*(2573), 寻找和研究矢量粲偶素和类粲偶素, 以及寻找含奇异夸克的带电类粲偶素,从而为新强子谱的研究提供更多的实验信息。
英文摘要
Although some exotic hadrond states (also known as XYZ particles) have been observed experimentally in recent years, the properties of these particles are not well understood. For examples, do these XYZ particles have more generation and decay modes? Some charged Zc particles have been observed, then are there any charged Zcs states with a strange quark? Are there any vector charmonium-like states with higher masses ? The study of the above questions is undoubtedly one of the frontier directions of the exotic states at present. Based on the largest Upsilon data samples in the world accumulated by the Belle and BelleII experiments, we plan to measure the cross sections of e+e- to charmed baryon pairs and strange charmed meson pairs with higher mass thresholds via initial state radiation for the first time, including: (1) e+e- to Λc+Σc-, Σc+ Σc-, Σc0 Σc0, and Σc++ Σc-- processes; (2) e+e- to Ds*Ds0*(2317), DsDs1(2460), DsDs1(2536), and DsDs2*(2573) processes. In the distributions of the measured cross sections for the above processes, we will search for and study the vector charmonia and charmonium-like states, and search for charged charmonium-like states with a strange quark, thus providing more experimental information for the understanding of the new hadron spectroscopy.
