以珠三角地区为例，着眼于我国土地财政制度，研究建设用地扩张特征及驱动机制，推动城市地理学与经济学交叉领域发展。(1)应用空间统计分析剖析珠三角地区建设用地扩张规模、尺度和结构特征，强调不同权属（国有/集体）、利用类型土地差异。(2)基于政治经济学理论剖析我国土地财政制度下，各利益主体在不同区位、权属、类型建设用地扩张中成本、收益及博弈结果，定性阐述土地财政如何驱动建设用地扩张。(3)通过逻辑演绎推导土地财政对建设用地扩张的作用机制，抽象制度变量构建土地财政和市场变量联动作用的建设用地扩张模型，并应用珠三角地区实证数据回归验证，发展基于纯市场机制的建设用地扩张理论模型。(4)从调整制度驱动力要素角度提出引导建设用地理性扩张的政策建议。课题将土地财政制度因素引入城市扩张驱动力研究，不仅对现有基于纯市场经济的城市竞标地租理论进行补充，而且为我国土地财政体制改革提供有价值参考，理论及实践意义并重。

Drawing upon insights from the perspective of land finance, this study, which may promote the development of the cross fields of geography and economics, analyzes the pattern and driving mechanism of construction land expansion in the Pearl River Delta. Firstly, using spatial analysis method, we detect the pattern, scale and structural characteristics of the construction land expansion in the Pearl River Delta, focusing on the different expansion mode between different ownership and different use type. Secondly, based on Political Economy Theory, we discuss the cost, earning and game result of each interest subject in the construction land- - which is clarified by location, ownership and using type - - expansion process under the "Land Financial System", qualitatively analyze how "Land Financial System" motivates construction land expansion. Thirdly, through logical deduction we will find out the mechanism of how "Land Financial System" motivates construction land expansion. What's more, we will abstract institution variables and construct a construction land expansion model which is affected by the combination of institution and market variables. The model will be checked through regression analysis using the date of the Pearl River Delta to promote theories about construction land expansion under pure market mechanism. Fourthly, we will put forward advices about how to guide rational construction land expansion through adjusting institutional driving force. The project bring land financial institutional variables into the research of urban expansion' driving forces, has both theoretical and practical significance since it not only complements the City Bid Rent theory under pure market economy, but also provide valuable references for our country' land finance revolution.
