当今社会的媒介化程度不断加深,以互联网和移动互联网为代表的新媒体深度参与社会关系的建构,成为空间生产的新要素。新媒体的出现以及农村信息化程度的提高重构了乡村旅游中的主客关系,本项目据此提出“主客共享空间”这一概念,描述旅游中主客交往时共在、共用、共创的地域空间与网络空间,并以此为切入点研究新媒体如何介入主客双方的社会交往,影响乡村旅游地的社会空间,促进乡村社会秩序的重构。本项目基于媒介地理学这一交叉学科,利用地理学与传播学等相关学科的理论与方法,首先从物质、关系与文化三个维度剖析了主客共享空间的特征,然后结合新媒体具有的资本、实践与表征能力,厘清主客共享空间的动力机制;最后探讨了这一空间对于乡村社会的地方意义。本项目以主客共享空间为理论工具,解释了一种跨地方生产的新型社会空间的形成及其地方效应,对于理解媒介化社会中空间与地方的内涵,实现乡村振兴,推动城乡融合发展有着重要的理论与现实意义。

Today's society is deeply mediatized. New media represented by the internet and the mobile internet has greatly influenced the production of social relations, reconstructed the function and significance of social space. The emergence of new media and the continuous improvement of communications Infrastructure in rural areas have reconstructed the host-guest relationships in rural tourism. Against this background, this project proposes a new concept "host-guest sharing space" to describe the geographical space and cyberspace that are co-existed, used, and created by the hosts and guests in tourism. With this concept, this project aims to study how new media intervenes in the social interaction between tourists and the host community, affects the social space of rural tourist destinations and further promotes the reconstruction of rural social society. Based on the interdisciplinary subject, geographies of media and communication, this project applies the relevant theories and methods of communication studies, geography and other disciplines. Firstly, it explores the characteristics of the host-guest sharing space from three dimensions which are material, relationship and culture. Secondly, combined with the capital, practice and representation ability of the new media, the mechanism of the host-guest sharing space is clarified. Lastly, this study examines the significance of this space to rural society. This project, taking the host-guest sharing space as a theoretical tool, explains the formation of a new type of social space produced across places and its significance, and has a great contribution to gain a comprehensive understanding of the meaning of place and space in the mediated society, realize rural revitalization and form a sustainable relationship between urban and rural areas.
