一直以来，天文学在都城营建中发挥着重要的指导作用。中国古代天文学十分复杂，特殊的政治环境使其杂糅了天命、星占、天人哲学等诸多思想，都城所表现出的天文学特征也因此多面，可分为“外在的文化象征”和“内在的科学联系”两个方面。.“外在的文化象征”是指通过象征手段实现城市与天体间的文化关联，表现为:都城的宇宙学定位、都城形态模拟天体造型、建筑命名或装饰图案关联天官或天体文化等特征。“内在的科学联系”是隐藏在都城内部的天文学特征，呈现出：对古代星图的有效把握、对天文历法的纯熟应用、对天体运行路径的动态观测和对建筑方位的准确定位等几个方面。.然而，学界对该方面研究成果十分匮乏，就现有成果看，内容泛泛且呈碎片化。研究对象较单一，内容多以城市表层的天文象征为主，以星图、天体运行和天文历法为研究对象的成果寥寥。尽快形成系统地、整体性地理论成果以支撑其理论地位乃当务之急。

Morphological simulation of celestial shape, architectural naming or decorative patterns associated with features such as celestials or celestial cultures.."Inner scientific connection" is astronomical features hidden in the Capital city design. Mainly reflected in the effective grasp of the star map by the metropolitan layout, the skillful application of the astronomical calendar, the dynamic observation of the celestial path and the accurate positioning of the building orientation. The application of these techniques has made the Chinese Capitals full of strong astronomical features..However, the current academic research on this aspect is very scarce. As far as the existing results are concerned, the content is fragmented. The research object is relatively simple, and the content is mainly based on the astronomical cultural symbol of the urban surface. The results of research on star maps, celestial movements and astronomical calendars are not sufficient. It is imperative to form systematic and holistic theoretical results as soon as possible to support its theoretical position.
