5G毫米波无线通信系统高集成度和低损耗的发展需求对射频前端的设计提出了新的挑战。将天线和滤波器融合为滤波天线,使单器件实现多功能为毫米波射频前端的集成化提供了一种新思路。本项目围绕毫米波滤波天线融合设计理论与技术开展研究:(1)提出采用毫米波天线馈电技术和模式调控技术来有效控制天线输入阻抗和辐射特性,形成带通滤波响应,从而将滤波功能集成到天线上。(2)基于电磁偶极子互补天线理论,将低后瓣的互补天线和毫米波滤波天线融合,在不依赖地板尺寸的情况下有效减小后向辐射造成的器件间干扰。(3) 提出在毫米波天线之间建立多耦合路径来提高天线隔离度的方法,无需复杂去耦合网络,实现去耦合和毫米波天线阵列一体化,进而组成高集成度的毫米波低后瓣滤波天线阵列。本项目所研究的毫米波滤波天线融合设计理论与技术可以使天线阵列获得高集成度、低损耗、多功能等优势,将对毫米波射频前端的集成化发展起到积极推动作用。

The developing demands of high integration and low loss for 5G millimeter-wave wireless communication systems bring new challenges to the design of RF front ends. Integrating the antenna and the filter into a filtering antenna, enabling a single device to achieve multiple functions, provides a new idea for the integration of the millimeter-wave RF front end. Thus, this project focuses on the fusion design theory and technology of millimeter-wave filtering antennas. (1) It is proposed to adopt millimeter-wave antenna feeding technology and mode control technology to achieve effective control of antenna input impedance and radiation characteristics, and then obtain a bandpass filtering response. Finally, the filtering function can be integrated into the millimeter-wave antenna. (2) Based on the theory of complementary antennas, the complementary antenna with low back lobe and the millimeter-wave filtering antenna can be fused to effectively reduce the interference between devices caused by backward radiation, without depending on the size of the ground plane. (3) A method of multi coupling paths is proposed to improve the isolation level between millimeter-wave antennas. Without complex decoupling networks, the simple decoupling structure can be integrated with the millimeter-wave antenna array to form a highly integrated millimeter-wave low-lobe filtering antenna array. The fusion-design theory and technology of millimeter-wave filtering antennas studied in this project enable the antenna array to obtain the advantages of high integration, low loss, and multi-function, which will promote the integrated development of millimeter-wave RF front-end.
